One of my favorite places on Earth!

During my visit to the U.K. in December had a chance to visit Golitha Falls, Liskeard, Cornwall.

Lots of rain but it made the experience so much better with fast river flow and lush forest.

Thoughts are with Turkey and Syria

Such a tragic situation! We can not comprehend the loss and pain.

In December, I and family had a meal at “Dunya” in Plymouth, UK. A Turkish restaurant that provided fantastic food but also the friendliest, kindest service and staff.

Reminds me that at heart good and love is everywhere.

Quality counts

Memories

Many years ago I discovered Masi olive oil and Balsamic vinegar and loved it. Was at local specialty grocery store and found the Olive oil again, no luck with Masi Balsamic so tried something new and it is delicious.

My son came to visit so we had Rosemary focaccia for dipping in oil and vinegar. A classic!

My kids are better than me!

Can’t believe it! I was born in Cornwall and my kids born in Bahamas, yet together they make the best Cornish pasty I have ever had.

Best pastry ever, best filling proportions. I live in shame and will never have another pasty unless my kids make it or I go to Cornwall.

Love that my children have a passion for food and likely due to my wife and I exposing them through travel and promoting experimentation.

I would say one leans to experimentation the other to perfection. What a dynamic combo!

So proud !

Starting the year well!

Great night with family.  Suffering the after effects today.  Everyone is having a quiet day to recover.

I am doing something I haven’t done for quite a while.  Sitting alone listening to some vinyl.

Yes a little shot to help recovery from last night.

I must say this Louis Armstrong album is fantastic.  I purchased it 3 or 4 years ago but don’t think I ever sat and listened to it start to finish.  Love it,  of course starting with “What a wonderful world” makes everything feel good.

Enjoy the weekend, back to work next week.
